Usually after gifting, most people get sylphs, etc… showing up, right?

But what if you gift people and are inside? Couldn’t very well get sky confirmations inside, eh?

Well, since it was people being gifted, instead of towers, etc…, a heart showed up instead in my tossed folded napkin. Didn’t notice it at first, cause I was busy running my mouth 90 miles a minute in between taking bites.

I know some people may read this and think “Aww, she doesn’t have a clue what she’s talking about. She’s only a kid.” While that may be right in your mind, it’s definitely what’s wrong in mine.
I’m craving love. I want romance. I just, miss it. You know? After a while being called sexy, hot, etc.. just doesn’t cut it. You know what I mean girls? Every now and then you might want to be called gorgeous, or maybe, even beautiful. AND IF ANYONE SAYS HOT AND BEAUTIFUL ARE THE SAME THING THEY ARE NOT. They just are not…

I don’t really know what I’m trying to say here.
My mind has been all over the place with 365, homework, friends, work, being accepted, etc..
I’m nervous for next year.. moving away to Alberta.. oh, did I mention Colin was coming? Oh, did I also mention I miss him?
Bahhh I’m a sooooook
Time to go to sleep now! LOL@ being awake at 4am! ..again!

I feel weird posting this here, but Flickr IS a social networking site so here goes:

In addition to the silly things I post up here, I’m a member of A DAY WITHOUT- an original Chicago-area alternative rock band in search of a strong female lead singer. We’re looking for a vocalist in her twenties to early-thirties with solid range, style, work ethic and swagger - who can deliver on heavy guitar-based material, embrace and own the tender power ballad, isn’t allergic to cats and dogs (seriously), and isn’t afraid of admitting to the enjoyment of sugar-coated Top-40 pop music.

We have a number of songs with lyrics and melodies already written, but we’d really like to work with someone who is both willing and able to contribute to every aspect of the creative process. Although honestly a band with no attitudes or egos (give or take a slight quirk or two), we’re all passionate songwriters who take great pride in our work, making us pleasantly… stubborn… from time to time.

But when you take away all the kicking and screaming and occasional bruises and scars, I’d say we’re a pretty easy bunch to work with!

A DAY WITHOUT writes, records, and rehearses in Arlington Heights, Aurora, Chicago, and occasionally the south suburbs of Illinois. Most of us are in early-to-mid thirties, have experience in the Chicago music scene, and hold down your average 9-5 day jobs.

It would be practical to say that at this point in our lives music is just a hobby, but for us it’s much more. It’s an obsession. We take it seriously - probably a little too seriously - but that’s the norm for this group of dreamers and chuckle-heads who refuse to grow up.

We are also looking for a full-time drummer.
